A Given

There are certain realities that just go with the territory of having boys.  Among others, the boundless energy. The mud.  The guns. The obsession with anything motorized.  The complete inability to stay out of puddles. And the climbing of trees.

Deep down I wouldn't trade any of these things, even though I may complain (loudly at times) about the amount of laundry that I do. It's what makes them boys.  And I love them!

Oh, and P.S.  When did Noah get so BIG?

Well it's not ALL boys although it's probably safe to say most boys fit your description. Neither of mine are into guns yet. My almost 5 year old son has zero desire to have anything to do with mud or climbing trees. My 2 year old son will probably love climbing trees like his big sister does. My girl and my boys do love splashing in puddles though! :) Thank heavens for washing machines and dryers, right? I am so glad we live in a time where machines help us with such tasks!!! Yes, Noah is getting big! When Nadia turned 6 Paul reminded me that 1/3 of her childhood was over (if you consider an 18 year old an "adult"). Yikes!!!
